How do we apply for a marriage license?
You must apply for your Marriage License together, in-person, between 60 days and 24 hours before signing. You may obtain your license from any City Clerk's office in New York City or any clerks office in New York State.

Before the wedding ceremony/meeting
 
Do you offer wedding rehearsals?
Rehearsals held right before the ceremony are complimentary. Rehearsals prior to the day are an additional $150 and subject to availability.
How far in advance should I hire a wedding officiant?
As soon as you know the date and time of your wedding, you should secure me as your wedding officiant. You can check my availability online.
Do we need a witness for our ceremony?
You need at least one witness who is over the age of 18 to sign your license. You may have up to two.
 
Can we read or hear your ceremony before our wedding day?
Absolutely. After receiving a deposit, we will send you a draft of your ceremony, which you can change or edit right up until your wedding day.
What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting?
Marriage license from Clerk Office, checkbook in case you wish to secure your date with me through a deposit.

Wedding Ceremony
How long does an average ceremony last?
On average they run between 20-30 minutes. Quality is my top priority.
Can we add religious or cultural elements to our ceremony? 
Absolutely yes!
 
After the wedding ceremony
Who submits the signed Marriage License to the Clerk's Office after our ceremony?
Once all necessary parties have signed your Marriage License, I as your officiant will take the license, make a copy and mail it to the Clerk's Office in the envelope that the Clerk's Office gave you when you have issued the license. This is officiant responsibility!
How soon after our wedding can we expect to receive our marriage certificate?
The City Clerk’s office states that it may take up to 6 to 8 weeks for your Marriage Certificate to be processed and returned. 
 
What if we need our Marriage Certificate sooner than 6 to 8 weeks?
Just one of you may take your signed license back to the City Clerk's Office, on the next working business day and you will be issued your certificate on the spot.

We do Wedding ceremonies in the English language, but we can offer you interpret for the Spanish language and Czech language.

Where we can have our ceremony?
We provide ceremonies in New York City within the 5 boroughs. The most popular places for a small ceremony are Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, rooftops, etc.

Do you offer license signing without a ceremony?
Yes, we do. We charge $150 and will include short vows and a pronouncement. 
Do you perform last-minute weddings?
Yes, all the time.
Can we hire you for an evening ceremony?
Yes. We are available for last-minute wedding ceremony 24/7
Where do you perform a wedding ceremony?
We do ceremonies within the five boroughs of NYC.
 
 
Same-Sex Marriages
Do you perform same-sex marriages?
Absolutely yes! Thanks to the Supreme Court of the United States, ALL of the weddings I perform are valid nationwide. Being true to yourself is what marriage is all about!
Which kind of ceremonies do you provide?
We perform all kinds of ceremonies, whether traditional or nontraditional. We will custom tailor your ceremony to your traditions, Civil or Spiritual.

What is your event cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable.
How much is a deposit?
Deposit is 50%
When we will pay the rest of the price?
The second part of the payment must be pay before the wedding ceremony or at the end of the ceremony when we will signing the Marriage license.
